I Will Return!
Devotional by Better Tomorrows
When we leave our friends & family' when we leave home, we might say that we will return. Those whom we speak to, they
know us well enough to know that, if we say something, then we mean it. It is what we will do. I have often said that I 'would
return' to a specific place where we've spent some time in fellowship or worship. It's simply because the place made a good
impression on us, or perhaps the people there were very friendly and nice to be around, often it is when we feel at home the
most.. Many things can makes us want to 'return someplace.' to a specific people. One day, the man from Galilee will come
back He said, "I will come again". (See Matthew 24.), It is believe His returning is closer than we realize. So many things
were to happen, and then He would return. Many of those things have occurred. We've seen so much desolation in this world,
so much terrorism, famine, earthquakes and other things that point to His return. He said He would return, and that's sufficient
for me. I know that I have to be on my guard because the enemy is out there seeking to destroy (See 1-Peter5.), and kill.
Stay prepared people; He is coming back after His True people. Stay Immerse in the word = (The Trues & Living Word of
God = The Bible.), Study all the time, Pray, Pray for those that are lost, Pray for family members, also pray for those that
are brought to us to share His Message in Truth. Pray for the homeless, disadvantaged, and poor. Pray for our firefighters
that risk their lives daily for our communities. Pray for our governmental leaders, For our friends, for our church members.
Pray for those that are lost, for those we are trying to reach for Christ, Prayer for children, Pray for those children that
live in homes that have little or no love in them. Pray for the addicted, Pray for the Nations, Pray for our communities,
Pray for our world.
Do not ever loose sight of fellowship with like minded people in your own community, a man can not stand as an Island,
he must have like minded people around Him / Her.
Lastly, take time to be with God, there will be no other time that is more important in you entire day.
John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there
ye may be also.
Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your
anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring
lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced
by your brotherhood throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called
you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. To him be the dominion forever
and ever. Amen.
--1- Peter 5:6-11
Say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming
to save you." --Isaiah 35:4
